Is Alabama Starting CB Domani Jackson Returning?
I have some exciting news for Alabama Crimson Tide fans, Domani Jackson, their junior cornerback, announced on Instagram that he’ll be coming back for his senior season in 2025.
Honestly, this is awesome news for Alabama fans. Jackson really made his mark this past season. He transferred from USC and played in 12 games for the Tide. Remember that game against South Carolina? He totally saved the day with a crucial interception of LaNarris Sellers right at the end of the game, helping Alabama squeeze out a 27-25 win. It was a nail-biter.
Jackson had a solid season with seven pass deflections, a forced fumble, and two interceptions. One of those picks was in the first quarter of that intense 41-34 victory over Georgia—definitely a highlight.

And it’s not just him; he’s joining some other key players who are sticking around for next season, like LT Overton, Justin Jefferson, and Deontae Lawson. It seems like the defense is coming together well.
Fun fact: Alabama was really interested in Jackson back when he was at Mater Dei High School in L.A. In fact, On3 even placed him as the top-ranked cornerback in the 2022 class. He spent a couple of seasons at USC before making the switch to Alabama in late 2023. I think with his return, the Tide’s defense is going to be something to watch next season.
