Nebraska Lands Massive Commitment from No. 4 WR and 10th-Ranked Player Overall in Transfer Portal
Have you heard the latest news about Nebraska Transfer portal update?, I think it’s pretty exciting, Remember Dane Key, the wide receiver who played for the Kentucky Wildcats? Well, he has officially signed with the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He made the official commitment right after New Year , which is kind of a cool holiday gift for the Huskers fans.
Last season, Key really showed off his skills, recording 47 catches for 715 yards and two touchdowns. Not too shabby, right? He had some standout games too. Like, on September 21, he totally went off against Ohio, racking up 145 yards with seven receptions. And the following week, he didn’t slow down at all—he had another great performance against Ole Miss with eight catches for 105 yards.
What’s great about Key joining Nebraska is that he brings some veteran experience to the wide receiver group. He can definitely help bridge the gap between the incoming freshmen and the upperclassmen. It’s always nice to have someone who can step up and contribute right away, don’t you think?
I’m really curious to see how they’ll use him in the Huskers’ offense in 2025. With the team loading up on talent, this adds another solid piece for quarterback Dylan Raiola to work with. It’s gonna be an interesting season ahead
